There are literally thousands of travel blogs and vlogs out there that talk about visiting or living in Colombia. However, none of them seem to do “deep dives” into the nitty-gritty of daily living. They almost always focus on the “high-level”, glitzy, “International Lifestyle” content that aren’t much more than glamorous ad-bait.
This blog goes deeper. But first, an introduction.

These “Relocation-” posts are living documents chronicling my relocation. It’s also a way to “give back” by sharing information about my unique experience, with emphasis on those little nerdy and “OCD” details that almost no other travel/relocation websites or videos talk about.
These posts are a mix of processes, detailed information, and general impressions. It also has some anecdotes, social commentary, a little personal analysis for context and reader connection, and some “adult language” thrown in for catharsis.
Oh, and don’t forget the emojis. I fuckin’ LOVE emojis 😎
Obviously “no size fits all”, but I hope this journal helps you “get in where you fit in”, to understand more about Colombia before you make that leap.
A very informative intro to your blog, Chin! Vamos!
